Group of rocks at the W end of the Robinson Group off the coast of Mac. Robertson Land. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and named Vestskjera (the west skerries). Renamed by ANCA for J.B. Child, Third Officer of the Discovery during British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE), 1929-31.
