Description (see definition): A tributary glacier, 13 mi long, flowing E from Rawson Plateau to enter Amundsen Glacier just S of Mount Benjamin, in the Queen Maud Mountains. Discovered by R. Admiral Byrd on the South Pole flight of Nov. 28-29, 1929, and named by him for R. Admiral William A. Moffett, U.S. Navy (USN), first Chief of the Bureau of Aeronautics, Department of the Navy.
