A mountain (3,710 m) at the E side of Vinson Massif, surmounting the ridge between the heads of Dater and Thomas Glaciers, in the Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains. First mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1957-59. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Commander Edgar A. Mohl, USN, hydrographic officer on the staff of Commander, U.S. Navy (USN) Task Force 43, during Deep Freeze Operations I and II, 1955-56 and 1956-57.
