Glacier 4 mi long in southern Brabant Island, flowing W from the Solvay Mountains into Dallmann Bay between Fleming and Humann Points, in the Palmer Archipelago. Shown on an Argentine government chart in 1953, but not named. Photographed by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. in 1956-57, and mapped from these photos in 1959. Named by the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for Benjamin Rush (1745-1813), first great American physician and philanthropist, author of works on insanity and fevers, and one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
