A broad glacier about 60 mi long, flowing northward between Giaever and Ahlmann Ridges in Queen Maud Land to the Jelbart Ice Shelf. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE) (1949-52) and named for Stig V. Schytt, second in command and glaciologist of Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE).
