A high, sharp peak (4677 m) at the SE side of the summit plateau of Vinson Massif, 1.8 mi SE of Mount Vinson. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) (2006) after Richard Wahlstrom, member of the 1966-67 American Antarctic Mountaineering Expedition that made the first ascent of Vinson Massif and other high mountains in the Sentinel Range.
