A prominent mountain which surmounts the central part of Liard Island in Hanusse Bay, off the W coast of Graham Land. Mapped from photos obtained by Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE) (1947-48) and Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (FIDASE) (1956-57). Named by UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for Percy W. Bridgman, American physicist who discovered the high-pressure forms of ice.
