Description

Precipitous mass of ice-free rock rising to 610 m, standing 6 mi E of Cape Jeremy on the W coast of Antarctic Peninsula. First seen from the air and photographed on Aug. 16, 1936 by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE) under Rymill. Surveyed in 1948 by the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) who so named the feature because of its color.
