Description

A ridge-type mountain about 2 mi long, with peaks rising above 1,600 m, located 3 mi NE of Mount Daniel astride the ridge descending NE from the S part of Lillie Range. Discovered by the U.S. Ross Ice Shelf Traverse Party (1957-58) under A.P. Crary, and named after Lieutenant Earl D. Dryfoose, Jr., U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR), pilot of U.S. Navy (USN) Squadron VX-6 during Deep Freeze operations.
