Description (see definition): A prominent nunatak rising above the ice at the SE end of the Neptune Range, Pensacola Mountains, 8 mi ENE of Gambacorta Peak. Discovered and photographed on Jan. 13, 1956 during a U.S. Navy (USN) transcontinental plane flight from McMurdo Sound to the Weddell Sea and return. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Jack O. Hill, aerial photographer on this flight.
