Description (see definition): A distinctive snow and rock mountain (1,360 m) between Quartermain Glacier and Fricker Glacier on the E side of Graham Land. Features on this coast were photographed by several American expeditions: U.S. Antarctic Service (USAS), 1939-41; Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE), 1947-48; U.S. Navy photos, 1968. Mapped by Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS), 1947-48. Named by UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for Peter Kennett, General Assistant with the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) Larsen Ice Shelf party, 1963-64.
