Description

A small area of exposed rock at the N end of Coulter Heights. The rocks are 6 mi NW of Matikonis Peak, near the coast of Marie Byrd Land. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959-65. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Richard W. Kuberry, geomagnetist/seismologist at Byrd Station, 1969-70.
