Description

A tributary glacier in the Admiralty Mountains, draining the area W of Mount Black Prince and flowing S between Shadow Bluff and McGregor Range to enter Tucker Glacier. Partially surveyed by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE), 1957-58, which also observed upper parts of the glacier from Mount Midnight and Mount Shadow. Named by New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE) for the light cruiser HMNZS Leander which served in World War II, 1939-45.
