Glacier 10 mi long, which flows SE from Avery Plateau into Mill Inlet to the W of Cape Chavanne, on the E coast of Graham Land. Charted by the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) and photographed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE) in 1947. Named by the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) for Leonid Breitfuss, German polar explorer, historian, and author of many polar bibliographies.
