Several rock crags standing 3.5 mi SE of Cox Point in the N part of Erickson Bluffs, near the coast of Marie Byrd Land. The feature was first observed and photographed from aircraft of the U.S. Antarctic Service (USAS), 1939-41. Mapped by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959-65. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Commander Lawrence W. Coor, U.S. Navy (USN), pilot of LC-130 Hercules aircraft during Operation Deep Freeze 1970 and 1971.
