A mostly snow-covered peak (1,840 m) located mid-way along the W wall of Pitkevitch Glacier in the Admiralty Mountains. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Eugene D. Crandall, U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR), Aircraft Commander (LC-130F) with Squadron VX-6 during Operation Deep Freeze 1968.
