Small valley partly filled with ice and opening to the north, lying between Mount Deildenapen and a similar mountain mass just westward in the Ostliche Petermann Range, Wohlthat Mountains, Queen Maud Land. Discovered and plotted from air photos by German Antarctic Expedition (GerAE), 1938-39. Replotted from air photos and surveys by Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (NorAE), 1956-60, and named Deildedalen (the dividing valley).
