Small plateau over 2,400 m, standing 1 mi NW of Mount Hayter on the N side of the head of Lucy Glacier. Seen by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE) (1964-65) and named for the leader of this geological party to the area, Malcolm G. Laird (Cape Laird, q.v.).
