Glacier, 12 mi long and 4 mi wide, flowing SW from the Dyer Plateau of Palmer Land to George VI Sound, immediately S of Moore Point. In its lower reaches the S side of this glacier merges with Millett Glacier. First surveyed in 1936 by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE) under Rymill. Named by the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) in 1954 for Ian F. Meiklejohn, radio operator of the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE), 1934-37.
