Description

A small group of nunataks located at the SW extremity of the Sweeney Mountains, in Ellsworth Land. First observed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE), 1947-48. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1961-67. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for William R. Morgan, cook at Eights Station in 1965.
