A high coastal range, about 30 mi long, standing between the Skelton and Mulock Glaciers on the W side of Ross Ice Shelf. Probably named after the training ship in the Thames, in which many officers of early British Antarctic expeditions trained. Discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition (BrNAE), 1901-04. The name seems to have been first applied on the charts of the British Antarctic Expedition (BrAE), 1907-09.
