An ice-covered spur between the upper parts of the Comberiate Glacier and Potter Glacier in the Royal Society Range, Victoria Land. Named by US-ACAN (1994) after Loreen G. Utz, USGS cartographer, a member of the satellite surveying team at South Pole Station, winter party 1983.
