Rocky coastal peninsula between Sparkes Bay and Penney Bay, at the E side of the Windmill Islands. First mapped from air photos taken by U.S. Navy (USN) OpHjp on February 1947. Named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Commander Frederick G. Robinson, USN, aerological officer with U.S. Navy (USN) OpWml which established astronomical control stations in the area in January 1948.
