Description (see definition): Channel between Anvers Island on the SW and Brabant Island on the NE, connecting Dallmann Bay and Gerlache Strait, in the Palmer Archipelago. Discovered in 1898 by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition (BelgAE) under Gerlache, who named it for Francois Schollaert (1851-1917), Belgian statesman.
