An island 0.5 mi N of Trundy Island in the W part of Joubin Islands. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Johannes N. Bielecki, Asst. Engineer in R.V. Hero on her first Antarctic voyage to Palmer Station in 1968.
