Description (see definition): Peak, 2,010 m, rising 2 mi SE of Allen Peak near the N extremity of the main ridge of the Sentinel Range. Discovered by Lincoln Ellsworth on his trans-Antarctic flight of Nov. 23, 1935. Named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Charles C. Shockey of the Branch of Special Maps, U.S. Geological Survey, which prepared the 1962 map of this range.
