Description (see definition): A large hump-shaped peak, 2,000 m, being the central of three peaks on a ridge 6 mi N of Mount Zinkovich, in the Churchill Mountains. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Col. Wilbert Turk, commander of the 61st Troop Carrier Squadron which initiated the flights of C-130 Hercules aircraft in Antarctica in January 1960.
