A glacier flowing SE from the edge of Detroit Plateau, Graham Land, and through a deep trough to join Edgeworth Glacier. Mapped from surveys by Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1960-61). Named by UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for J.A. Bombardier, Canadian engineer who developed the "Snowmobile," one of the earliest successful over-snow vehicles (1926-37).
