A group of nunataks 12 mi SW of Governor Mountain in the Wilson Hills. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for William L. Bourgeois, Chief Aviation Machinist's Mate, U.S. Navy (USN), flight engineer on LC-130 Hercules aircraft during Operation Deep Freeze 1967 and 1968.
