Description (see definition): A high pass between the Surveyors and Nash Ranges, at the upper reaches of the Dickey and Algie Glaciers, affording a passage from the Nimrod Glacier region to Beaumont Bay. Named by New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE) (1960-61) for Captain Lawrence D. Bridge, Royal New Zealand Engineers (RNZE), leader at Scott Base from November 1960 to February 1961.
