Description (see definition): A deeply entrenched narrow glacier on the E side of Wolseley Buttress flowing southward from Detroit Plateau, Graham Land. Mapped by Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) from surveys (1960-61). Named by UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for Dan Albone, English designer of the Ivel tractor, the first successful tractor with an internal combustion engine.
