Description (see definition): Prominent mountain (1,640 m) rising just S of Stuhlinger Ice Piedmont and between the Gannutz and Barber Glaciers in the Bowers Mountains. Discovered by members of the British Antarctic Expedition (BrAE), 1910-13, who explored along this coast in the Terra Nova in February 1911. Named for Lieutenant Wilfred M. Bruce, Royal Navy Reserve (RNR),) officer in charge of zoological work aboard the Terra Nova.
