A rounded, mainly ice-covered mountain rising above Peletier Plateau 4 mi NW of Mount Ropar, in the Queen Elizabeth Range. The name given by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) is descriptive of the semicircular bands of snow on the S side of the mountain.
