Small group of three rocks lying in Marguerite Bay, 1 mi S of Neny Island, off the W coast of Graham Land. Surveyed in 1947 by the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) and named by them for the USS Burton Island, icebreaker with U.S. Navy (USN) OpWml, which visited Marguerite Bay in 1948 and assisted in the relief of the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE) and Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) parties on Stonington Island.
