Description

Rock mass on the E coast of Alexander Island, which rises to 500 m, 2 mi NE of Lamina Peak and 2 mi inland from George VI Sound. First photographed from the air on Nov. 23, 1935, by Lincoln Ellsworth and mapped from these photos by W.L.G. Joerg. Surveyed in 1949 by the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS), and so named by them because of its offlying position; it is separated from the Lamina Peak ridge by faulting.
