A glacier 11 mi long in the Hays Mountains, flowing W from the NW shoulder of Mount Vaughan to enter Amundsen Glacier just N of Mount Dort. First roughly mapped by the Byrd Antarctic Expedition (ByrdAE), 1928-30. Remapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from ground surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lewis K. Cappellari who made ionospheric studies at McMurdo Station in 1965.
