Description (see definition): A peak (4,070 m) situated 6.5 mi SSE of Mount Wade in Prince Olav Mountains. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos 1960-65. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) in recognition of the Centennial of the Ohio State University in 1970, the same year the University's Institute of Polar Studies celebrated its Decennial. The University and the Institute have been very active in Antarctic investigations since 1960.
