A nunatak lying 1 mi W of the lower part of Reedy Glacier and 7 mi E of Berry Peaks. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from ground surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant (jg) Harvey A. Cohen, U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR), public affairs officer on the staff of the Commander, U.S. Naval Support Force, Antarctica, in Operation Deep Freeze 1966 and 1967.
