Prominent rocky pinnacle with a distinctive pointed summit, 1,000 m, standing 4 mi W of the N end of LeMay Range in central Alexander Island. First mapped from air photos obtained by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE), 1947-48, by Searle of the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in 1960. Named by the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713), Italian composer.
