A glacial meltwater stream, 2.6 mi long, flowing N from Crescent Glacier to the south-central shore of Lake Fryxell, in Taylor Valley, Victoria Land. Named in association with Crescent Glacier. The name was suggested by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) hydrologist Diane McKnight and was approved by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) and the New Zealand Geographic Board (NZGB) in 1994.
