Description (see definition): A small cluster of bare rock peaks (2,680 m) that surmount the S wall of Cosmonaut Glacier in the Southern Cross Mountains, Victoria Land. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Franklin J. Daughtery, aviation structural mechanic with U.S. Navy (USN) Squadron VX-6, a participant in six Deep Freeze operations.
