A rock nunatak which appears to be within the flow of Garfield Glacier, in the W part of McDonald Heights, Marie Byrd Land. The feature lies 1 mi W of Rhodes Icefall. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959-65. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant Thomas H. Dee, U.S. Navy (USN), Medical Officer at Byrd Station, 1970.
