Group of islands lying SW of Williams Point, off the N coast of Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Named by the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) in 1958 for Thomas Dunbar, Master of the schooner Stonington, CT, which visited the South Shetland Islands in 1820-21.
