A cluster of precipitous rock hills, 1,640 m, rising just N of the mouth of Colorado Glacier where the latter enters the W side of Reedy Glacier. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1960-64. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for James C. Eblen, aviation machinist with the McMurdo Station winter party of 1959, a participant in several U.S. Navy (USN) Deep Freeze expeditions.
