Description (see definition): A mountain (1,110 m) near the head of Suvorov Glacier, 2 mi NW of Hornblende Bluffs, in the Wilson Hills. The region was photographed by U.S. Navy (USN) Operation Highjump, 1946-47. The position of the mountain was fixed on Feb. 21, 1962 by Syd L. Kirkby, surveyor with the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) Thala Dan cruise led by Phillip Law. Named for R.L.J. Ellery, a member of the Austratian Antarctic Exploration Committee of 1886.
