A small ice-covered island about 18 mi ENE of Blaskimen Island in the NW part of the Fimbul Ice Shelf, Queen Maud Land. The island is 10 mi ENE of the site of the South African Sanae Station. The name Apollo appears to be first used on a South African map of 1969.
