Description (see definition): A rocky point on the coast marking the W side of Harald Bay. Discovered in Feb. 1911 by Lieutenant H.L.L. Pennell, Royal Navy (RN), in the Terra Nova, expedition ship of the British Antarctic Expedition (BrAE), 1910-13, under Scott. Named after W.W. Archer, chief steward of the expedition.
