Description (see definition): Steep-sided rock and snow ridge in northern Alexander Island, extending 15 mi in a N-S direction and forming the eastern wall of Toynbee Glacier. The ridge includes Mount Tyrrell and Mount Tilley. Named by the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) in 1977 from the sandstone-type rocks that form this feature.
