Description

A rock peak (2,430 m) standing 1.5 mi SW of Mount Daniel, surmounting the snow-covered, tabular mountain block which forms the S end of Lillie Range, in the foothills of the Prince Olav Mountains. Discovered and photographed by the U.S. Ross Ice Shelf Traverse Party (1957-38) under A.P. Crary, and named by him for Lieutenant Commander Ray E. Hall, USN, pilot of U.S. Navy (USN) Squadron VX-6 during Deep Freeze Operations.
