A high, snow-covered mesa, some 8 mi across and rising to 3,390 m, located S of Mount Odishaw in the Hughes Range, between the heads of Keltie Glacier and Brandau Glacier. Discovered and photographed by U.S. Navy (USN) Squadron VX-6 on the flight of Jan. 12-13, 1956. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for B.C. Haynes, meteorologist of the U.S. Weather Bureau on U.S. Navy (USN) OpHjp 1946-47.
